Hoy 11 de noviembre se cumplen 24 años de la inauguración de la GUARDERIA Comunal, fue creada durante el primer gobierno de Petiso, a un año de la vuelta de la Democracia.
La inspiración fundamental de la GUARDERIA fue, es y será, por lo menos para nosotros, la IGUALDAD entre los niños de Wheelwright, sabiendo que la base principal de dicha igualdad es la educación basada en el amor.
Muchas fueron las manos que forjaron esta institución, muchos los nombres que quedaron impregnados en sus paredes, muchas las mujeres que tejieron las mantas que abrigaron a todos los niños que por ella pasaron.
Hoy nuestro Homenaje a los que fueron visionarios y creyeron y creen que cobijando con amor es posible dar las mismas oportunidades.
Hoy nuestro Homenaje a las empleadas, a las que hace 24 años que cuidan, enseñan y alimentan las esperanzas de un mundo igualitario
La GUARDERIA ha sido refugio de centenares de niños, ha sido educadora, amiga y madre.
